On this very jetty I fell asleep once and got so sunburned I couldn’t shower or lie down for weeks afterwards. But it brings back wonderful memories of warm silent evenings watching the sunset. Sometimes fishing with a cooler filled with Budweiser next to us. There was nothing intrusive or disturbing. And we had all the time in the world.
